West Sussex - Arundel Sightseeing

Higher up the hill is a larger, more formal entrance to Arundel Castle. It is hard to believe that a family actually lives in this amazingly large series of buildings. The upkeep must be amazing so you can see why they live in just a section of it and open the rest up to the public. They often choose to gift half to the National Trust or other such Trustees to maintain it. Arundel Castle is one of the longest inhabited country houses in England and has been remodeled and rebuilt over the years.
